Holy Ghost Tent Revival Concert!

So last night I traveled to the Virginia/Tennessee state line (roughly 30 minutes from my house) and saw two amazing bands in a bar/Italian Restaurant. The first band was called Now You See Them and the second Holy Ghost Tent Revival.

Many things happened last night that renewed my faith in mankind. It was just a night full of unabashed rip-roaring fun. My knees still hurt from dancing, and I still have a bit of ringing in my ears but it is completely worth it.

Here are just a few things that happened that made my night interesting. I didn’t have to pay because I got there so early and my hands were not X’d even though I’m under 21. I was offered a free beer sample which I graciously took. I got right up in the action at the cusp of the stage. I had some friends there as well as my awesome boyfriend, Christopher. I saw a guy who looked exactly like thelos who was taking pictures of the band. I shook the hand of Holy Ghost Tent Revival’s bassist. I correctly identified a Melodica and won a free roll of “Jesus Tape” from Now You See Them (picture below) And to top off my night I got beer spilled on me by a really tall guy. If that isn’t one hell of an interesting night then I dunno what is.

I had so much fun, and I didn’t even care that I got beer spilled on me because it just added a little more character to my interesting night.

If either of these bands are in your area of living GO SEE THEM, YOU WILL HAVE AN AMAZING TIME, TRUST ME!You’ll thank me later.

Fuck you, that movie was awesome. It made me feel like I was rebelling against something. I loved that. You suck dick. STOP SUCKING DICK, WOMAN, AND SUCK MY DICK.

really, because it made me feel like i was watching a really mediocre adaptation of a really cool graphic novel.

Adaptations always have to suffer. Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (the movie) was pretty good, but it had to forgo most of the humour in order to adapt it to a movie format.

hitchhiker’s guide is one of my favorite books of all time and i thought the adaptation was actually good and had a solid amount of the humor that was in the novel. whereas v for vendetta kinda seemed like a watered/dumbed down, romanticized version of something that was really great.

Agreed to the Guide comments. I also enjoy the 1812 Overture, but everyone is like “Oh you must love V for Vendetta!” Yes, I base my love for a song on its usage in a shitty film. Some of my friends are going to have a party. I will instead be listening to Holy Ghost Tent Revival.

20 minutes on the elliptical machine.
50 sit-ups
50 crunches
4 sets of 15 reps with free weights (working out triceps)
2 sets of 20 with resistance band (working out triceps)

I feel pretty good about myself right now.

That’s not nearly enough places you applied to. You should spend as much time each day applying to jobs as you would working at a job. Make applying to jobs your job.

Hmm…Good advice, I never really thought of it like that. But the bad thing is, I live in “the country” so businesses are very sparse within my driving range, but I’ll definitely try that.
